What began as a visual concept for IASLC’s annual report evolved into a flexible graphic language for the organization. The original globe—constructed from hundreds of colorful circles—represented IASLC’s global community and the interconnected nature of its work.
For ASCO 2026, I extended the concept into a bold lung graphic designed to work at exhibition scale. The recognizable form communicates lung cancer instantly, while the color, circular forms, and interconnected shapes continue to reinforce IASLC’s global reach and collaborative mission.
The idea stayed consistent. The application changed to meet the communication challenge.
